Job Summary:
A Repair Shop Supervisor oversees ULD repair operations, ensuring they meet safety and all industry standards. The Repair Shop Supervisor leads a team of repair shop personnel, ensuring all tasks are completed according to established standards and safety protocols, while maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate all repair and maintenance activities related to air cargo equipment.

Supervise repair station personnel and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.

Prepare damage survey reports, repair assessments, and work orders for customer repairs.

Plan and schedule workshop repair activities, including coordination of parts, tools, and materials.

Monitor repair processes to maintain quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Conduct inspections of repaired equipment and ensure proper certification and documentation, including EASA Form 1 where applicable.

Ensure compliance with EASA regulations, MOE procedures, OEM standards, company policies, and safety requirements within the repair shop.

Train and support staff on repair techniques, equipment handling, safety standards, and regulatory procedures.

Conduct staff performance evaluations, assist with staffing needs, and maintain up-to-date repair station rosters and attendance records.

Manage workshop resources, tools, inventory, and storage areas to ensure organized and effective operations.

Generate reports related to repair activities, inventory levels, labor hours, and operational performance while maintaining accurate technical records.

Address operational issues and implement process improvements to enhance workflow and efficiency.

Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, customers, and subcontractors to support smooth operations and effective communication.

Promote a safe, clean, and compliant working environment, including enforcement of PPE requirements.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills/Competencies/Abilities/Personal Attributes:

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of maintenance procedures, regulations, and repair techniques. Understanding of quality assurance processes and the ability to enforce standards.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma is required.

Certification is required to perform repairs.

Several years of experience in repair, maintenance or a related field.

Experience in a supervisory role is an advantage.

Familiarity with regulatory and safety standards.

Must be able to perform physical tasks related to maintenance and repair.
