Holland2Stay is growing fast. We're opening new locations, welcoming more residents every year, and taking our first steps beyond the Netherlands. With growth comes opportunity, but also increasing complexity. That's why we're looking for a Financial Controller who can keep the bigger picture in focus, provide sharp analyses, and ensure we can always rely on our numbers.
In this role, you're much more than the person behind the reports. You help us understand the story behind the figures and turn financial data into insights that teams can act on. You'll work closely with colleagues across Finance and Operations and actively contribute to making our processes smarter, faster, and better.
Prepare monthly financial closings and management reports
Analyze financial results, identify trends, and clearly explain variances
Monitor balance sheet positions and ensure accurate reconciliations
Support budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring
Improve and optimize financial processes and reporting structures
Support audits and maintain contact with external stakeholders when needed
Ensure financial data is complete, accurate, and up to date
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance, controlling, or a similar role
Proven experience with financial reporting and month-end closings
Strong command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written
Experience working with ERP systems and Excel
Experience in a fast-growing or international organization is a plus
