Role Overview
Van de Satpura is looking for a General Manager to lead our growth in the Netherlands. We are an AI technology company that helps businesses use AI to get real results.
Our company is already active in the Dutch market. We have a strong list of potential corporate clients and are currently in talks with several investors. We need a leader to manage this momentum, finalize investments, and build a high-performance sales network.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Leadership: You will build and manage a team of independent sales partners. These partners work on a commission-only basis. Your job is to lead, support, and coordinate them to reach sales targets.
- Investor Relations: You will take over existing discussions with investors. Your goal is to represent the company professionally and secure the funding needed for our next growth phase.
- Business Management: You will manage the daily operations of this company. This includes making sure the company follows all local laws, tax rules, and business regulations.
- Strategic Growth: You will decide the best way to grow the company in the Netherlands. You will turn our current list of potential clients into long-term business partners.
- Professional Representation: You will be the face of the company in the Dutch market, building trust with high-level executives and partners.
Candidate Requirements
- Leadership Experience: You have worked as a Manager, Director, or Senior Leader in a B2B technology company.
- Management Skills: You are good at managing people who are not direct employees. You know how to motivate independent partners and freelancers.
- Business Sales Knowledge: You understand how to sell complex technology to large companies. While you are not the primary salesperson, your strategic advice and leadership intervention will help the team close deals.
- Finance & Investment: Demonstrated ability to secure funding and manage investor partnerships.
- Dutch Market Knowledge: You understand Dutch business culture and the legal requirements for running a BV (private limited company).
Mindset & Language
- Results-Focused: You prefer action over words. You are direct, honest, and focused on reaching goals.
- Independent: You are comfortable working in an ambiguous environment where you have a lot of responsibility and freedom.
- Bilingual: You must be able to speak and write professionally in both Dutch and English.
