About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Prototype Design Engineer to join an innovative engineering team developing next-generation products and systems. In this role, you will be involved throughout the entire product development cycle, from concept creation and CAD design to prototyping, testing, and design optimization.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to transform ideas into functional prototypes and support the transition towards low-volume manufacturing. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys combining technical creativity with practical problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced R&D environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and prototypes using 3D CAD software.
-
Create detailed technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
-
Build, test, and evaluate prototypes, incorporating feedback into iterative design improvements.
-
Support product development activities from concept through validation and production readiness.
-
Work with rapid prototyping technologies, including 3D printing and additive manufacturing processes.
-
Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure designs are functional, manufacturable, and cost-effective.
-
Investigate technical challenges and develop practical engineering solutions.
-
Contribute to design reviews, testing activities, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
