The external second assessor supports the assessment of final written work within the Law programme, in particular internship portfolios and, where needed, Applied Research Projects. The task consists of acting as an independent second reader/assessor, reviewing the submitted work on the basis of the programme’s assessment criteria and rubric, and contributing to a fair, consistent, and academically sound assessment process. The second assessor is expected to read the written submission carefully, complete the relevant assessment form, provide concise and professional feedback where required, and coordinate with the first assessor in case alignment is needed.
For internships specifically, this means assessing internship portfolios submitted by Year 4 students of the Law programme. The assessor should be able to evaluate legal content, professional reflection, structure, clarity, and the extent to which the student demonstrates the required competences at final bachelor level.
Proposed candidate profile / conditions
