In this role, you will provide direction and coaching to the medical team of the vaccination program in Amsterdam. You work closely with senior doctors, train colleagues, and ensure quality at the site. You combine medical leadership with impact on public health.
About the function
As a medical coordinator vaccinations at GGD Amsterdam, you actively contribute to vaccinating the people of Amsterdam every day. You are the point of contact for doctors and vaccination staff on-site and ensure everyone follows the correct guidelines. You coach and train colleagues, consult with senior doctors, and answer complex medical questions. Additionally, you inform the team about policy changes, monitor processes at the vaccination sites, and log any incidents. You work intensively within the team and have a great responsibility for medical quality. Your day is filled with switching between colleagues, having short meetings, and guiding the team through challenging situations. This requires a good dose of flexibility and analytical skills. The work can be demanding, especially when quick coordination between locations is needed and many questions come your way. But you gain a lot in return: you have direct influence on public health and make a concrete contribution to tackling corona in Amsterdam.

What we need
- Valid Dutch medical registration (BIG) as a general practitioner
