For our HR department in the Netherlands, we are looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistent. In this versatile role, you will support the HR department and work closely with the HR Business Partner and HR Generalist. You will be given significant responsibility, gain insight to all aspects of the HR profession, and have plenty of opportunities to further develop your skills and career.
In this role, you will support both of our Dutch locations. Your work location is flexible: whether you prefer to work from Elst (Gelderland) or Zoetermeer, both options are available. We are happy to discuss which location suits you best.
You are curious about what is happening within the organization, able to prioritize effectively, and proactive in taking ownership of your work. Thanks to your accuracy, service-oriented mindset, and enthusiasm, you contribute to the smooth operation of our HR processes. In this position, you will report directly to the HR Business Partner.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Monitor the progress and accurate processing of administrative HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and changes to employment terms and conditions;
- Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and maintaining contact with candidates;
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including drafting letters, employment contracts, and other HR-related correspondence;
- Maintain and update personnel files and HR documentation;
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of HR administration in various systems;
- Support the HR Business Partner and HR Generalist with a range of HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees;
- Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding administrative HR-related questions;
- Perform various back-office duties, such as welcoming visitors, placing orders, and creating purchase order (PO) numbers.
Who we are looking for…
Profile
- You have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or another relevant field;
- Experience with (HR) administration is an advantage;
- You are enthusiastic, eager to learn, flexible, hands-on, accurate, and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
Technical skills
- Good command of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint);
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage;
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken is a requirement.

Working hours
- Dayshift (36-40 hours per week)
- Working hours: 8.30 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible working hours)
