Als floor manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse leiding van bioscoop LAB-1: je zorgt ervoor dat de films, dagelijkse activiteiten en service soepel verlopen. Je verzorgt de filmvertoningen door de apparatuur te bedienen en de films te controleren.
Je bent als floormanager veel op de vloer te vinden en zorgt ervoor dat de service goed verloopt en de servicemedewerkers bezig zijn. Je neemt deel aan de uitvoering en begeleidt de service medewerkers. Je zorgt voor structuur en optimaliseert de werkprocessen, zodat het café en de zalen representatief zijn en onze bezoekers goed worden verzorgd.
Als floor manager stuur je het team aan, coördineer en monitor je de taken, train je nieuwe medewerkers en stel je roosters op. Je bent ook verantwoordelijk voor het voorraadbeheer. Je coördineert de dagelijkse en maandelijkse schoonmaakschema’s. Daarnaast voer je kleine onderhoudstaken uit, zoals het vervangen van kapotte lampen, het oplossen van verstoppingen in toiletten, etc.
Tevens help je mee met kleinere events: deze werkzaamheden omvatten het aansluiten van een laptop, microfoon, verlichting en soortgelijke (lichte) technische handelingen.
Je hebt oog voor gastvrijheid en bent daarom ook een voorbeeld voor je medewerkers. Waar mogelijk help je hen bij het uitvoeren van de taken. Je inspireert en stuurt hen aan om de unieke en gezellige LAB-1 ervaring over te brengen aan onze gasten.
Je bent als floormanager het eerste aanspreekpunt voor klachten en tijdens calamiteiten/technische storingen. Je lost eerste problemen op en meldt deze aan de technicus.
Jouw kwalificaties:
- Minimaal HBO werk- en denkniveau;
- Aantoonbare ervaring in management en horeca, ook achter de bar of in de bediening;
- Je bent een teamspeler én een sterke leider;
- Assertief en stressbestendig;
- Productief, georganiseerd, punctueel, gefocust, oog voor detail, klantvriendelijk en communicatief vaardig;
- In het bezit van een BHV- en/of Sociale Hygiëne-certificaat (of bereid om dit te behalen);
- Woonachtig in of nabij Eindhoven – je moet na 01:30 uur zelfstandig naar huis kunnen;
- Goede mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatievaardigheden in het Engels;
- Interesse in kunst en cultuur en films;
- Flexibele instelling – bereid om onregelmatige uren te werken, waaronder avonden, nachten, weekenden en feestdagen. Minimaal 1x per maand werk je tijdens feesten tot maximaal 06:00 uur.

As a Floor Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of LAB-1 cinema, ensuring that film screenings, daily activities and customer service run smoothly. You are responsible for film screenings, operating the equipment and checking that films are running correctly.
As Floor Manager, you spend a lot of time on the floor, making sure that service runs smoothly and that the service staff are actively engaged in their work. You take part in daily operations and supervise the service staff. You provide structure and optimise work processes, ensuring that the café and cinema spaces are presentable and that our visitors are well looked after.
You lead the team, coordinate and monitor tasks, train new employees and prepare staff schedules. You are also responsible for stock management and for coordinating daily and monthly cleaning schedules. In addition, you carry out minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing broken light bulbs, dealing with blocked toilets and similar practical issues.
You also assist with smaller events. This includes connecting laptops, microphones and lighting, as well as carrying out similar basic technical tasks.
You have a strong sense of hospitality and lead by example. Whenever possible, you support your team in carrying out their tasks. You inspire and guide them to create the unique, welcoming LAB-1 experience for our guests.
As Floor Manager, you are the first point of contact for complaints, emergencies and technical issues. You resolve initial problems where possible and report technical issues to the technician.
Your qualifications:
- At least HBO-level working and thinking ability (higher professional education level);
- Demonstrable experience in management and hospitality, including hands-on experience behind the bar or in table service;
- You are both a team player and a strong leader;
- Assertive and able to perform well under pressure;
- Productive, organised, punctual and focused, with an eye for detail, a customer-friendly attitude and strong communication skills;
- You hold a BHV (emergency response) and/or Social Hygiene certificate, or are willing to obtain one;
- You live in or near Eindhoven and must be able to travel home independently after 01:30;
- Good spoken and written English communication skills;
- An interest in art, culture and film;
- A flexible attitude and willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays. At least once a month, you will work during events or parties until a maximum of 06:00.
