EMEA Space & Occupancy Leader - Hilversum, Netherlands
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to lead space and occupancy planning across a dynamic EMEA portfolio while partnering with senior client stakeholders on workplace strategy, occupancy optimization and real estate decision-making. As the EMEA Space & Occupancy Leader, you will serve as the subject matter expert for all space planning and occupancy-related activities across the Client's European Headquarters in Hilversum and multiple EMEA locations. Combining strategic insight with hands-on delivery, you will transform workplace data into actionable recommendations that support business growth, employee experience and portfolio performance. Working closely with the EMEA Alliance Director, Workplace teams, Project Management and Client leadership, you will play a key role in shaping the future workplace strategy across the region.
How You'll Make an Impact
Drive space and occupancy planning across the EMEA portfolio, ensuring accurate workplace data, floorplans and reporting that support effective business decisions.
Translate occupancy trends, utilization metrics and workforce insights into clear recommendations for senior client stakeholders.
Lead workplace planning initiatives, including move management, workplace reconfigurations and future occupancy scenarios across multiple locations.
Partner with business leaders to optimize space utilization, enhance employee experience and support long-term real estate strategies.
Act as the trusted advisor for all space and occupancy matters across EMEA, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Lead and develop a small team while fostering a collaborative, service-focused and high-performing culture.
What You'll Need:
Experience in Space Planning, Occupancy Planning, Workplace Strategy, Facilities Management or Corporate Real Estate.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn workplace and occupancy data into actionable business insights.
Experience with space management platforms such as Archibus, OSIS, PeoplePower and AutoCAD.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leadership teams.
A highly organized and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, international environment.
Fluency in English is essential; Dutch or another European language is an advantage.
