Functional Tester & Business Analyst | Data Migration & Mortgages | Leading Dutch Bank
Are you a hybrid Business Analyst / Functional Tester who enjoys getting deep into data? For Project Morse – a high-profile data mapping and governance programme at a leading Dutch bank – we are looking for an analyst who will test ~300 data quality rules and map ~700 attributes in the Mortgages Integration layer. You’ll work at the heart of one of the largest mortgage portfolios in the Netherlands, shape migration logic that thousands of customers will depend on, and collaborate daily with Agile teams, architects, and business stakeholders in a truly end-to-end role. Long-term project, hybrid working, based in the Netherlands.
About the role
Project Morse has two clear objectives: testing approximately 300 data quality rules and completing the data mapping exercise for ~700 attributes in the Mortgages Integration layer. As Functional Tester & Business Analyst you own quality end-to-end – from performing complex analyses on data quality issues in source systems, to drafting and executing functional acceptance tests, to coordinating end-to-end integration testing and customer acceptance testing across the mortgage system landscape.
This is not a scripted-testing role: you will proactively contribute to migration logic design, address data modelling challenges, and help shape post-migration processing towards downstream systems. You align requirements with internal and external stakeholders, prepare work instructions for team members, and support Agile teams with test data creation.
You’ll join a collaborative, international environment where your analyses directly determine the success of a major data migration – with the autonomy to organise your own weekly data mapping and modelling work.
About you
- Proven experience as a Functional Tester and/or Business Analyst in complex banking environments
- Hands-on experience with data mapping, data modelling, and data quality analysis
- Experience drafting and executing functional acceptance tests and coordinating end-to-end / customer acceptance testing
- Knowledge of the Dutch mortgage domain and the interaction between systems within it
- Fluent in Dutch (required – much of the documentation is in Dutch) and professional English
- Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external
