As a Product Owner Data Platforms, you make sure fellow Coolblue colleagues can work smarter with data every day. You work in a Scrum team with Data Platform Engineers and Analytics Engineers. You define the product vision, prioritize the roadmap, and manage the project from start to finish.
Every day, together with your team, you decide which improvements add the most value to our data platform. You break down big ideas into manageable tasks and make sure the Scrum team always knows what the next step is. You align with other Product Owners, Data Platform Engineers, and Analytics Engineers to ensure everything works well together. You also regularly present your roadmap to the management team and clearly explain the choices you make. This is how you ensure our data platforms are reliable, future-proof, and as useful as possible for all Coolblue colleagues.
- Developing a clear product vision.
- Setting priorities, creating a roadmap, and executing it step by step.
- Understanding the value of epics and user stories, and explaining this to your team.
- Coming up with solutions for complex problems.
- Testing assumptions and making evidence-based decisions.
- Collaborating with different teams to achieve the best results for your domain.
- A completed university degree.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Product Owner for multiple development teams.
- Living in the Netherlands.
- Strong collaboration skills, both remotely and in the office.
- Strong social skills.
- Experience with tools such as Airflow, dbt, or BigQuery in a modern data platform environment.
- Able to draw conclusions quickly based on data.
- Strong spoken and written English skills.
A starting salary between €4,000 and €4,700 gross per month. The exact amount depends on your experience and the match with the role. We use a starting scale if you are still growing into the job and a growth scale if you already meet most expectations.
