The Role
As an Assembly & Service Technician, you will support the calibration, repair, troubleshooting, and servicing of precision flow and pressure instruments. You will work closely with both the European and US service teams while developing the technical knowledge needed to independently diagnose and resolve issues.
This role combines hands-on technical work with analytical thinking and continuous learning. While onboarding and technical training will be provided, success in this role depends heavily on initiative, technical curiosity, sound judgment, and problem-solving ability.
What You’ll Do
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform calibration, repair, and troubleshooting activities on precision instruments
- Diagnose technical issues and support root-cause investigations
- Assemble and configure instruments according to technical specifications
- Conduct final quality checks and ensure products meet required standards
- Accurately document service findings, calibration data, and repair actions in internal systems
- Support continuous improvement of service and operational processes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Additional Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming shipments and components
- Collaborate with local and international colleagues to resolve technical issues
- Participate in ongoing technical training and product learning
What Success Looks Like
Within 3–6 months, you will:
- Independently calibrate and service products to specification
- Troubleshoot common technical issues with minimal supervision
- Deliver consistent, high-quality work with strong attention to detail
- Reliably support service and operational activities
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams
What We’re Looking For
- Technical education at MBO-4 level (Mechatronics, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or similar) or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
- Strong technical curiosity and hands-on problem-solving ability
- Ability to troubleshoot issues methodically and think critically
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable working independently while taking ownership of tasks
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Comfortable working with tools, electronics, small components, and precision equipment
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new products and procedures
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills (ERP experience is a plus)
- Working proficiency in English (Dutch is a plus)
- Legal right to live and work in the Netherlands
Prior service experience is beneficial, but we are especially interested in candidates with strong technical aptitude, initiative, reliability, and the ability to think critically and work independently.
