Your internship with us
We are offering an internship for a Software Engineer (Node.js) to support our Data Engineering team. You will contribute to building and maintaining scraping tools that extract structured and unstructured data from the web—at scale and with precision.
As an intern, you will gain experience working with browser automation tools, backend scripting, and web data infrastructure. You’ll work closely with experienced developers, take part in code reviews, and contribute directly to components that power our core data products.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and maintain Node.js-based scripts for large-scale web scraping
- Automate website interactions using tools like Playwright
- Clean and structure raw data for downstream processing and analysis
- Contribute to debugging, improving performance, and adding monitoring features
- Collaborate with the team on small project modules and proof-of-concepts
What are we looking for?
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field
- You have experience with JavaScript or TypeScript (Node.js experience is a plus)
- You are interested in data engineering, scraping, and backend development
- You are comfortable working independently and asking questions when needed
- You are fluent in English (spoken and written) and based in the Netherlands
