As a Quality Inspector you will play a crucial role in the quality assurance of the department. You will provide support to the production team with quality related questions, assure correct handling and processing of (suspected) nonconforming goods, engaging in problem-solving and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with Production Quality Engineer, other Quality Inspectors and the support roles in the production department.
Provide first line support for quality issues within your operational department(s).
Review suspected goods and secure nonconforming goods.
Guard correct administration of nonconforming goods.
Assess impact and escalate blocking issues.
Process internal quality complaints to your department.
Coordinate internal containment activities.
Execute technical product inspections supplied by your operational department(s).
Trigger root cause analysis and identify improvements.
