Your Role as an Offshore Safety Instructor
As as Offshore Safety Instructor (m/f/d) in Amsterdam, you are at the heart of our training center.
You don’t just deliver courses, you create impactful learning experiences that truly prepare people for real-life offshore emergencies.
What will you do?
No two days are the same and that’s exactly what excites you.
You take full ownership of your trainings and:
Deliver BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) and FOET (Further Offshore Emergency Training) courses
Execute and continuously improve training sessions for helicopter safety, sea survival, firefighting and emergency breathing systems (EBS)
Guide participants through realistic and hands-on exercises, including underwater escape (HUET) and self-rescue scenarios
Create a safe, energetic and engaging learning environment
Uphold the highest safety standards, because in this role, rules and procedures are non-negotiable
What do you bring?
Experience as an instructor is a plus - your mindset matters most
Ideally, certifications in BOSIET/FOET/OPITO (or the willingness to obtain them)
Good command of English
A proactive, flexible, and hands-on attitude
A genuine passion for safety, training and working with people
Experience working offshore or in maritime environments is a strong advantage
A serious commitment to safety rules and protocols, because the well-being of our participants is our top priority
