MDM Engineering Lead
The MDM Engineering Lead (Informatica) is responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of enterprise Master Data Management solutions using Informatica Customer 360 (C360) and the Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) platform. This role oversees technical implementation, solution architecture, data model governance, integration patterns, and best‑practice engineering standards. The candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and delivery teams to ensure high‑quality, scalable, and resilient MDM capabilities that support strategic data initiatives across the organization.
Day to day:
- Lead the end to end engineering and configuration of Informatica MDM (C360) solutions.
- Design and maintain business entity models, relationships, and survivorship rules.
- Configure and enhance the MDM data model, metadata, match/merge rules, and workflows.
- Build, maintain, and optimize Provisional UI and Informatica IDD interfaces.
- Develop and manage IICS integrations, mappings, and data synchronization processes.
- Define and deliver API services using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
- Oversee development of CDQ (Cloud Data Quality) rules and mapping specs.
- Ensure alignment to governance, security, and data quality standards.
- Partner with product owners, business SMEs, and architecture teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead release planning, versioning, automation, and deployment using Azure DevOps.
- Provide technical mentorship, code reviews, and engineering practice leadership across the MDM team.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize performance, and ensure operational stability.
- Drive continuous improvement to the MDM ecosystem, tools, and engineering workflows.

- Delivered MDM capabilities meet functional requirements, SLAs, and performance expectations.
- High-quality, stable C360 environments with reduced defects and minimal rework.
- Improved match accuracy, data quality scores, and entity completeness.
- Consistent, timely delivery of releases supported by automated DevOps pipelines.
- Positive stakeholder satisfaction and adoption of delivered functionality.
- Well documented configurations, models, API definitions, and development standards.

Essentials:
- Deep hands on experience with Informatica MDM / Customer 360 (C360).
- Strong proficiency in IICS (mappings, tasks, synchronization, parameterization).
- Experience designing business entity relationships, trust, and survivorship rules.
- Expertise in data model configuration, metadata management, and entity modelling.
- Ability to develop and maintain Provisional UI and Informatica IDD.
- Practical experience with CDQ mapping development and data quality rule design.
- Strong knowledge of Swagger / API development, integration standards, and REST patterns.
- Hands on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD, version control, and work management.
- Strong understanding of MDM concepts: match/merge strategies, hierarchy management, cross domain modelling.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and guide engineering best practices.
Extras:
- Experience with Azure cloud architecture, networking, and platform services.
- Knowledge of Data Governance frameworks (e.g., Collibra, Informatica Axon).
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT patterns outside of IICS (ADF, Databricks, etc.).
- Exposure to analytical platforms and master data consumption patterns.
- Experience with performance tuning, scalability planning, and MDM optimization.
- Background in leading global engineering teams or complex MDM programs.
