Where will you be working?
Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V. (MTEE) is a global player in turbochargers for the European automotive industry. At our company, turbochargers are assembled using advanced production lines and tested in state-of-the-art testing facilities.
In addition, our Engine Division is responsible for supplying engines for marine and industrial applications throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Our parent company is based in Japan, resulting in close collaboration within a highly welcoming and respectful culture. You will notice this in everything we do. From our production facilities in Japan and France, we supply our customers across the region.
As a Junior Product Manager, you will be part of a team of five colleagues whose shared goal is to position MTEE as a market leader in both the marine and industrial sectors. In this role, you will work closely with our factory in France and our parent company in Japan.
What does your day look like as a Junior Product Manager?
You will support the Product Managers responsible for our marine and industrial engines and system solutions, while gaining in-depth knowledge of the business. No two days are the same. One day you may be working on market analyses or product launches, while the next you are coordinating with colleagues in Japan or accompanying a colleague on a customer visit.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Conducting market, competitor, and product analyses;
- Preparing reports and business cases;
- Maintaining and managing product and pricing information;
- Supporting the preparation of product launches;
- Coordinating with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and international stakeholders;
- Assisting with customer visits and international business trips;
- Contributing to the development of future products and energy transition solutions.

As a Junior Product Manager, you have excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain overview, identify connections, and translate insights into action.
In addition:
- You preferably hold a Bachelor's degree (HBO level), ideally in a commercial or business-related field;
- You have several years of experience in a similar Product Management role;
- You have an affinity with marine and/or industrial products;
- You possess strong analytical skills and are proficient in Excel;
- You are fluent in both Dutch and English, verbally and in writing;
- You are willing to travel occasionally;
- Finally, you are motivated by contributing to the energy transition towards a more sustainable future.
