Your work
As a Work Planner at IQIP, you are a key link in preparing, guiding, and optimising our production projects. You ensure smooth operations from initial planning to execution on the shop floor. In this role, you collaborate closely with production, engineering, and project teams to enable efficient, safe, and high-quality project delivery.
Your responsibilities
Create detailed project planning and assess required production capacity
Develop a routing and production plan for each project
Manage and maintain the order structure in the ERP system accurately
Collaborate with production supervisors to guide project execution
Monitor project progress and identify potential bottlenecks early
Assess manufacturability and completeness of engineering packages
Analyse production processes per project (costs, in-house vs. outsourcing)
Outsource smaller machining and construction items when needed
Follow up on quality issues and corrective actions
Continuously seek efficiency improvements in departmental processes
Provide stakeholders with operational updates on progress and quality through project reporting
Your profile
A driven and accurate team player with strong communication skills
Able to handle unexpected challenges with a practical mindset
MBO+ or HBO level of education in Mechanical Engineering
Several years of experience as a work planner in an industrial/project-based environment
Strong theoretical understanding combined with hands-on attitude
Knowledge of production processes, manufacturing techniques, assembly and installation, hydraulics, and mechanical engineering (offshore experience is a plus)
Proficient in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
Skilled in ERP systems and MS Office applications
