Context
As a Senior Quality Engineer in the quality department, you are involved in the development of new products at an early stage. You advise colleagues on quality and manufacturability and are responsible for initiating, preparing, and executing activities to guarantee and improve product quality. You work closely with engineering, purchasing, sales, production, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Support new product development from an early stage with a focus on quality and manufacturability.
- Advise colleagues on quality-related matters.
- Initiate and execute activities to guarantee and improve product quality.
- Work closely with engineering, purchasing, sales, production, and customers.
- Handle quality-related customer complaints and follow up on delivered quality.
- Coordinate activities and employees across different departments.
What you bring
- HBO diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Several years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience with quality systems such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 is preferred.
- Knowledge of improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean is preferred.
- Experience managing activities and employees across different departments.
- Fluent in Dutch and good command of English, both verbally and in writing. German is an advantage.
- Analytical, strong communicator, entrepreneurial, and a team player with a hands-on mentality.
