ROLE OVERVIEW
The Junior Procurement Officer will support and execute procurement activities across Onstream’s international operations. This role acts as a central liaison between global suppliers, Onstream’s local entities, transport agents, and other internal and external stakeholders involved in the procurement of goods and services required for operations.
The position requires a hands-on, structured, and adaptable professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment. Strong administrative discipline, the ability to quickly adapt to ERP systems (Odoo), and a process-driven mindset are critical to succeed in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement & Coordination
- Act as the primary liaison between international suppliers, Onstream local entities, logistics partners, and other stakeholders.
- Support the end-to-end procurement process for goods and services, from RFQs to purchase orders and delivery follow-up.
- Coordinate with transport agents and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance.
ERP & Administration (Odoo)
- Process purchase orders, supplier records, contracts, and invoices in Odoo.
- Maintain structured procurement data.
- Ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
Process Setup & Improvement
- Assist in setting up and implementing procurement processes.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- Support standardization across entities.
Negotiation & Supplier Interaction
- Support negotiations on pricing, terms, and lead times.
- Build relationships with international suppliers.
Internal Support
- Work closely with operations, logistics, finance, and project teams.
- Support urgent procurement requests.
- Provide reporting to the Network Manager.
