Group Account Manager -L’Oréal Luxe Division

For our Luxe Division, we are looking for an experienced Group Account Manager to join our Benelux Commercial Team (CGO team), based in our Hoofddorp office. Your primary focus will be one of our key selective retail partners. You will report directly to the Commercial Director Luxe (CGO) and be a vital member of the Commercial (CGO) Leadership Team.
Who are you? As Group Account Manager, your mission is to lead the strategic growth of our portfolio. Your key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Vision: Building the retailer strategy for Luxe Division and action road map. You provide the retailer perspective, identifying risks and opportunities to ensure long-term growth.
- Business Ownership: Achieving the retailer results, including turnover, market share, profit, valorization, and forecasting accuracy. You ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and employee engagement (Pulse).
- Negotiation Leadership: Owning the yearly negotiations.
- Retailer Partnership: Monitoring a retailer-centric account planning process to reach maximum alignment. You build a compelling, luxury-oriented story to secure retailer buy-in and maintain a strong network with key stakeholders.
- Internal Liaison: Facilitating seamless relations between L’Oréal Luxe and the retailer’s top management.
- People Management: Managing, coaching, and developing a team of professionals. You lead multifunctional teamwork between your team and other departments (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure top-tier execution.
The requirements for the role L’Oréal Luxe is seeking a high-caliber leader with strong commercial acumen, business drive, analytic strength and a passion for the Beauty luxury industry.
- Experience: You have 7 to 10 years of commercial experience, specifically within the Selective Distribution or Luxury Beauty environment. Experience with the Belgian and Dutch retail market is a must.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: You thrive in L’Oréal’s "go-get" environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity and have the agility to tackle opportunities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in people management. You are a coach at heart, capable of developing both junior talents and senior profiles within your team.
- Languages: Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory. Proficiency in French is a strong advantage for Benelux-wide coordination.
- Education: Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
