Build real-time data platforms providing insight into global networks
At Ivent Mobile, you’ll work in a small, highly skilled team (20 people) building systems that process massive volumes of network telemetry from telecom and satellite infrastructures worldwide.
As a Data Engineer, you will design and build real-time data pipelines and streaming platforms that directly support mission-critical communication systems used across the globe.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership, real impact, and real technical challenges.
What you’ll do
- Design and build scalable data pipelines (real-time & batch)
- Work with streaming data (Kafka) and event-driven architectures
- Process high-volume network telemetry and monitoring data
- Integrate data via APIs from internal and external systems
- Improve performance, reliability, and observability
- Troubleshoot complex production issues
- Contribute to data architecture and platform design
- Support and coach junior engineers
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in software development or similar
- 1+ years of experience in data engineering and backend development
- Strong skills in Python, Apache Kafka is a plus
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash (ELK)
- Solid knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and APIs
- Experience with production systems and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working in English (Dutch is a plus)
Nice to have (or willing to learn):
Linux, Ansible, Apache Spark, Ruby on Rails
