Key Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations across our various international entities.
- Reporting & Analysis: Take the leading role in preparing timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Control & Compliance: Build, implement, and optimize internal controls and robust compliance processes.
- Budgeting & KPIs: Establish, monitor, and manage key financial KPIs and company budgets.
- Strategic Partnering: Support leadership and strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
- External Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and financial stakeholders.
- Systems Optimization: Continuously upgrade and optimize our financial software and reporting tools to support our growth.
What We Are Looking For
- Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in financial controlling, ideally within a fast-paced tech or scale-up environment.
- Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of inventory and stock accounting is a major advantage, as is experience managing multiple international entities.
- Tools: Tech-savvy and highly comfortable with tools like Exact Online (or similar financial/ERP software).
- Skills: Exceptional analytical capabilities, sharp problem-solving skills, and a proactive, independent mindset.
- Languages: Professional fluency in English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or German is a strong plus.
- Passion: Genuine excitement about VR/AR, AI, and working in a cutting-edge industry.
