Role Overview
As a Digital Designer, you’ll focus on the design and improvement of our website, combining structured UI thinking with a strong sense of visual design. You’ll create clear layouts and work closely with developers to bring them to life, while also building and updating selected pages yourself. Alongside website UI, you’ll design visuals for promotional campaigns, including emails, banners, and blog content. You’ll be part of a creative team with designers and copywriters.
Key Responsibilities
Website UI & Web Design
- Collaborate with the project lead to improve and update website pages and UI
- Design and refine layouts, components, and visual structure of pages
- Build and update pages in Shopify using tools like GemPages (or similar page builders)
- Ensure designs are responsive, clear, and optimized for performance
- Contribute to mobile app UI design, ensuring consistency with the overall digital experience
- Conduct UI/UX testing across the website and app to identify improvements and enhance user experience
Graphic Design
- Design digital assets for campaigns, including banners and emails
- Create layouts for blog pages and select supporting imagery
- Translate campaign ideas into clean, on-brand visuals
- Support consistency across the website and campaign materials
Profile
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- 2–5 years of experience in digital or web design
- Strong design portfolio with a focus on website/UI design
- Proficient in Figma and Adobe Illustrator
- Experience with Shopify page builders (e.g., GemPages or similar)
- Experience with Klaviyo or similar email tools
- Understanding of SEO principles and web optimization
- Good eye for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
