The role
As an Investment Manager you support the growth and performance of our portfolio companies. You know what it takes to build a company, understand what an entrepreneurial team faces in their journey and help with advice, support in strategic decision-making and you are able to see what is missing. You are able to help teams grow. You understand that discipline in correct and timely reporting is key and the basis of everything. You will help early-stage companies set up robust financial and non-financial reporting systems. You will lead follow on investments and you will lead divestments, at the right time. You have curiosity to know everything there is to know about your portfolio company, its competitive environment, its stakeholders and the role it is to play in our holistic ecosystem of companies. You are a relationship builder, able to find partners to co-invest with, come up with appropriate terms, build synergies with other companies and the stakeholder network. You will work closely with and report to the Chief Portfolio Officer. You form a team with the board representative for each portfolio company. You are a team player. You come up independently with solutions, pre-emptively. Critical, but positive. And fun to work with!
