Berlitz Amsterdam is looking for a Korean Trainer / Korean Teacher / Docent Koreaans to deliver language training to professionals and private clients. Most lessons take place during business hours and in the early evening. For this reason, we are seeking trainers who are regularly available at these times. This role is available on a freelance (ZZP) basis.
Training schedules vary depending on client demand and trainer availability. This position is particularly suitable for trainers who enjoy flexible schedules and project‑based teaching assignments, or who want to combine teaching with other professional activities or studies.

As a trainer at Berlitz, you will teach using the well-known Berlitz Method, focusing on practical communication skills.
What You Will Do
- Deliver Korean language training to professionals and private clients
- Teach one‑on‑one lessons
- Deliver lessons face‑to‑face, online or occasionally at client locations
- Teach using the Berlitz Method, with a focus on practical communication
Your profile
- Korean language proficiency at minimum C2 level, with strong familiarity with contemporary spoken and written language
- Minimum 2 years experience teaching Korean to adults
- Able to choose and/or develop appropriate teaching material
- Living within 30 minutes of Amsterdam by public transport, for short face‑to‑face sessions
- Available during business hours and early evening
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable teaching adult learners and professionals
- Willing to teach online, face‑to‑face, in-company and at other Berlitz locations like Rotterdam or Den Haag
- Already legally resident in the Netherlands and in possession of a valid work permit

- Driving license for in‑company training
