Located in The Hague IB global centre, this role provides support to the Head of People as well as local management, while also having complete responsibility for its own tasks and project areas, in particular related to the health, wellbeing and sick leave of the The Hague Global Centre population. Overall, it ensures that Health and Sickness laws, legislation and practices are followed and delivered correctly for the The Hague Global Centre population, it takes oversight of sickness registration and administration, owns health & wellbeing People data and supports of analytics/dashboards, manage employee sickness cases, manages related external providers. It plays a key role in the prevention and reduction of long term and highly frequent sick leave in close cooperation with the AEM People Team as well as The Hague staff line management. This role actively participates in and contributes to the development and implementation of designated policies and procedures. The further purpose of the role is:
- Build manager capability to identify early warning signs
- Address recurring short-term absence promptly
- Provide employees with preventive information and wellbeing support
- Maximize internal interventions within the first six weeks
- Reduce reliance on occupational health referrals
- Actively manage long-term cases to shorten duration
