About the Role
Get-e is scaling quickly, and we're looking for driven, adaptable team players to grow with us. As a Global Hotel Operations Specialist, you'll sit at the core of our 24/7 international service team, managing hotel accommodation bookings for airline crews and clients across the world. You'll work directly with hotel suppliers and PMS/booking systems to secure availability, resolve allotment and rate issues, and keep crew accommodation running without disruption in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
If you're someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys solving supplier and booking problems, and brings a can-do mentality to every shift, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
Manage hotel bookings, room allotments, and rate/availability across a global hotel network.
Liaise directly with hotel suppliers to resolve availability conflicts, rate discrepancies, and last-minute changes.
Monitor cut-off dates, no-show/cancellation policies, and contract terms to avoid service or cost exposure.
Support crew accommodation logistics, including duty-of-care requirements (rest periods, curfews, proximity to airport/duty).
Perform quality checks on booking details and hotel data accuracy in our systems.
Communicate with clients and hotel partners in a professional, empathetic manner across multiple channels.
Identify recurring supplier or booking issues and propose process improvements.
Collaborate with international teammates and internal teams (Client Services, Hotel Management) in a fast-paced environment.
What You Bring
Fluent English speaker; additional languages are a plus.
Prior experience in hotel operations, reservations, or hospitality (e.g. front office, revenue/reservations, or a hotel-facing role at a travel/DMC/OTA) is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with hotel PMS, channel manager, or GDS/OTA booking systems is a plus.
Understanding of hotel industry terms and mechanics (allotments, rate parity, cut-off dates, no-show policy) is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for supplier negotiation and issue resolution.
Comfortable with rotating shifts (including weekends).
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent Dutch HBO-level thinking/working) — hospitality/hotel management background is a plus.
Team spirit and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
Besides an exciting and dynamic job, we provide you with the following:
