As Store Manager de Bijenkorf , you will be responsible for the commercial performance and day-to-day management of our Samsonite concessions within de Bijenkorf. Your primary focus will be our concession in Amsterdam , where you will spend most of your time. In addition, you will support and coach the teams in Eindhoven, Rotterdam, Utrecht, and The Hague .
These locations are staffed by experienced Senior Sales Advisors who work independently, while you act as their key point of contact for performance management, operational excellence, and ensuring a consistent Samsonite brand experience across all locations.
Your Challenge
You combine strong operational leadership with commercial insight, ensuring that Samsonite is represented to the highest standards in every de Bijenkorf location.
Commercial Management
- Analyse sales performance and KPIs across all concessions and implement targeted actions to achieve business objectives.
- Identify commercial opportunities and translate them into concrete initiatives on the shop floor.
Work closely with the Senior Sales Advisors to continuously improve results.

Coaching & People Management
- Coach, motivate, and develop the teams across the different concessions.
- Inspire employees by sharing best practices and fostering a strong customer-focused culture.
Support workforce planning, onboarding activities, and employee development.

Customer Experience & Brand Representation
- Ensure customers enjoy a premium Samsonite experience in every location.
- Monitor service standards and ensure teams maintain a high level of product knowledge.
Act as a true brand ambassador and bring Samsonite’s values to life every day.

Operations & Merchandising
- Ensure the correct execution of procedures, stock management, and operational processes.
- Maintain a consistent and attractive store presentation across all locations.
- Oversee the successful implementation of promotions, campaigns, and commercial activities.
