The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our opening team. You will be the creative force behind our bar, crafting cocktails and drinks that complement our refined menu. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced fine dining environment, you will deliver outstanding service and contribute to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines Satkara.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, mocktails, wines, and beverages to the highest standards
- Curate drink pairings and recommendations that complement our Indian and Nepali cuisine
- Greet and attend to guests at the bar with friendly, professional, and attentive service
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic bar area in line with food safety regulations
- Manage bar inventory, stock levels, and place orders when needed
- Assist with catering and banquet events as required
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all beverages and perishable items
- Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by delivering excellent guest experiences at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in hospitality, preferably in a Michelin starred fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage trends
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene procedures
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
- Comfortable with cash handling and basic arithmetic for transactions
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- A service-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail and genuine hospitality
