We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our rapidly growing company, Officebooking. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional support and solutions to their technical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Investigate and diagnose technical issues, determine root causes, and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the development team to escalate complex technical issues and provide feedback on product improvement.
- Document technical solutions and update knowledge base articles to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for clients.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Officebooking software and hardware products.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the support team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in technical support, with a strong background in software and hardware troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, Active Directory and cloud-based software solutions.
- Familiarity with Jira / Service management tools
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
