As Product Manager Tomato High Tech you are responsible for coordinating the product development for the tomato breeding programmes focusing on high-tech greenhouse horticulture. Together with your colleagues, you work on commercially successful positioning of new and existing varieties in various markets worldwide. Your tasks include:
Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as breeding, production & supply, crop support, and client managers.
Where will you be working?
The head office of Rijk Zwaan is in De Lier, near Delft. An international family business with a people-orientated corporate culture. Rijk Zwaan is at the beginning of the food chain. We develop vegetable varieties and sell their seeds to growers all over the world. From our position we can and want to make a contribution to the world's food supply.
What do you bring?
You have a strong affinity with plants and horticulture. Structure, overview and clear communication come easily to you. You are good at making contacts, building long-term relationships and using your commitment to motivate others. You work independently, think commercially and customer-focused, and naturally take the lead in projects.
