As a Mechanical Engineer, you are the driving force behind the design of complex mechanical systems. Your expertise in machine conditioning and mechatronic technologies translates technical specifications directly into tangible technological breakthroughs for the world's leading semicon OEMs.
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer specialized in CAD. This is your chance to turn your ambition into impact and shape the future at Aalberts. As a Mechanical Engineer based in Nijmegen, you are responsible for designing leading-edge technologies for semicon OEMs. You work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams and report to the Engineering Manager.
Your contributions:
Ownership of your portfolio: You are the primary contact for quality regarding one specific customer and lead the weekly consultation to ensure the progress of the 8D process.
Root Cause Analysis: You coordinate containments and perform thorough analyses (CAPA) to find and structurally solve the core of a problem.
Cross-functional collaboration: You work together with engineering and production to implement solutions and ensure operators are trained to prevent future errors.
Strategic roadmap: Besides daily dynamics, you contribute to long-term improvement projects that elevate our organization and delivery performance.
We are looking for an analytical professional who thrives on "the Aalberts way"—being an entrepreneur and taking ownership of their work:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
More than 5 years of relevant working experience in a high-tech environment.
Advanced proficiency in CAD software and deep experience with project lifecycle management.
Strong communicative skills and a hands-on team mentality.
You are fluent in English.

Salary between €4,000 and €5,000 gross per month (based on fulltime).
25 vacation days + 13 ADV. with the possibility to have them paid out.
