Service Coordinator
Based in Rotterdam’s iconic Van Nelle Fabriek, ONEXP is a boutique integrator that builds advanced audiovisual and IT systems for the world’s most elite superyachts and luxury residences. We’re driven by a shared DNA: Ownership, No-nonsense, and Excellence.
Once our projects are delivered to clients who are notoriously hard to impress, they are handed over to our After Sales team. We are now looking for a Service Coordinator to join our ranks to maintain our seven-star standard and master the space between initial delivery and flawless, ongoing operation.
The Role
This role is for someone who realises that seven-star service doesn't just happen on delivery day. It’s won in the trenches of daily crew contact, rigorous priority setting, and relentless troubleshooting. Your job is to keep global vessels running flawlessly, proactively anticipating issues before a ship leaves port, and managing every technical detail in between. When something goes wrong on board, your brain kicks into gear to keep the crew and owners supported seamlessly.
What You’ll Do
- Keep Your Finger on the Pulse: Stay in regular touch with crews so you know exactly what’s happening on the vessels you support. You'll proactively ensure all systems work perfectly before the ship leaves port.
- Seven-Star Support: Act as the primary lifeline for support. You’ll guide crews through basic troubleshooting using our IT & A/V manuals, whilst managing warranty items, upgrades, and scheduled maintenance.
- Own the Escalation: When a problem needs a deeper technical look, you'll gather the critical details and pass it to our internal IT or A/V teams. Even when escalated, you remain the trusted, central point of contact for the client.
- Be the Eyes & Ears on the Ground: You'll travel internationally up to 30% of the time—sometimes on short notice—to deliver our elite standard of service on the vessels. Anywhere.
Who You Are
- A nAfter-Sales Pro: You thrive on delivering impeccable service to demanding clients and genuinely understand the unique challenges of supporting demanding clients worldwide. Preferably you have experience in the maritime sector.
- A Master of Priorities: You bring several years of experience as a Service Coordinator. In our fast-paced environment, you know how to sort the urgent from the truly critical.
- A Clear Communicator: Your English skills are top-tier. You can articulate technical solutions clearly, whether you're talking to a captain or an engineer.
- An Owner: You take full responsibility for your domain. You bring a practical, no-nonsense attitude and a hunger for the adventure of working with elite marine tech.

The Logistics
- Location: Rotterdam region (Van Nelle Fabriek).
- Requirements: This role is strictly open to candidates with an EEA nationality. Living in the Rotterdam region is a massive plus.
