Role Overview
We are seeking a PMO Lead / Delivery Manager to lead and organize our project portfolio. You’ll set up and run our PMO, support delivery teams, and make sure projects are well-managed, documented, and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Portfolio Management
- Oversee our mix of technology and business improvement projects—prioritize, plan, and track progress.
- Create simple and clear processes for how projects are run and reported.
- Make sure teams use agreed tools and follow standards—help and coach as needed.
- Prepare and run project and portfolio meetings to keep everyone aligned.
- Keep in touch with operating companies about upcoming initiatives.
PMO Operations
- Manage PMO tasks: process updates, reporting, meeting notes, risk/issue oversight, and admin.
- Track progress, spot risks or delays, and escalate when needed to resolve issues fast.
- Ensure standards, compliance, and good documentation.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as an important link between business and CBO organization.
- Work with domain leads and architects to plan and scope projects.
- Quickly connect people to solve problems.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive improvements in project delivery process, tools, and reporting.
- Make processes simpler and documentation clearer.
- Make sure everything fits with overall company goals and systems.
Leadership
- Jump in to manage projects directly if needed.
- Coordinate across teams to keep everyone on track.
- Make complex things simple, create clarity and structure.
Who We’re Looking For

Practical, hands-on and proactive; strong communicator in both Dutch and English

Able to manage people and processes, and deliver clear results

Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience managing medium-to-large technology projects, ideally in international environments

Background with ERP/Business systems (Salesforce, Netsuite, etc.) a plus

Analytical, organized, and focused on solving issues without drama

Location: Based in the Netherlands, mainly covering Dutch, Belgian, and Swedish teams

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.

Minumum of 3 years of experience in Delivery Management, Program Management, PMO leadership, or Project Portfolio Management.

Experience establishing, improving, or operating PMO frameworks and governance processes.

Strong project, program, and portfolio management capabilities.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to identify risks, dependencies, and resource constraints and drive resolution.

Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple teams and business units.

Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
