WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
At Nike, it is believed that great teams build the future and the Inline Stores Merchandising team plays a key role in shaping what comes next. The team is hiring a Merchant/Buyer to help lead the next chapter of Nike Inline Stores across EMEA.
This individual will be part of a highly collaborative, high-impact team of Buyers focused on delivering the best expression of Nike in key retail locations. This is where global brand direction connects with local consumer insight — where innovation, sport, and storytelling come together across some of Europe’s most iconic cities.
The role operates within a cross-functional squad model. The team drives seasonal assortment strategies, is responsible for buying assortments for Nike stores, manages in-season trading, prepares product assortments for new store openings, and brings to life city-specific product moments that center the consumer.
The team is guided by clear values in how it works:
- Trust and inclusion drive collaboration, respect, and shared success.
- Positivity and confidence support resilient, forward-thinking decisions.
- Curiosity and courage encourage continuous learning and improvement.
This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while growing within a supportive, purpose-driven team.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is looking for a skilled and motivated professional with a background in merchandising or buying who is ready to contribute to the Inline Stores business and grow within a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate brings:
Experience in retail merchandising or buying, including hands-on involvement in assortment planning and in-season management, with cross-functional collaboration across planning and visual merchandising teams.
Understanding of key retail KPIs such as productivity, sell-through, and conversion rate (CR%), and the ability to influence performance through assortment and trading actions.
Advanced Excel skills and experience building clear presentations in PowerPoint; familiarity with Tableau or similar data visualization tools is a plus.
Experience contributing to cross-functional initiatives such as store openings, assortment curation, or product and collection launches.
A detail-oriented approach and the ability to translate consumer and sales insights into actionable assortment decisions at store level.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As a Merchandiser II on the Inline Stores team, you will support the end-to-end assortment process for a defined category or business area within Nike Direct Inline Stores. You will:
