The Organization
At StarApple, it’s all about people. Since 2008, we’ve been connecting IT professionals with organizations, from innovative scale-ups to international companies. We’ve since grown into a leading player in IT recruitment, with a team of about 40 colleagues based at our modern office in Voorburg.
Our culture is informal, entrepreneurial, and focused on development. We invest not only in the growth of our candidates, but also in that of our colleagues. Whether you’re just starting your career or already have experience, you’ll have the opportunity to continue developing yourself. For several years now, we’ve been part of the HeadFirst Group, which allows us to benefit from a large network, knowledge sharing, and additional development opportunities.
The Position
As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll be part of a specialized team within one of our IT domains, such as Software Development, Data & AI, Cloud, or Security. Together with a permanent colleague, you’ll form a recruitment duo. You’ll be jointly responsible for connecting IT professionals with organizations and guiding them through the entire recruitment process.
Within each pair, each consultant has their own area of specialization. One consultant focuses primarily on the client side: building relationships, account management, advising clients, and creating new opportunities. The other consultant, on the other hand, has a strong focus on the candidate side: actively identifying, interviewing, guiding, and advising IT professionals on their next career move.
Depending on your experience, talents, and ambitions, you’ll start in one of these two specializations. This will give you the opportunity to truly learn the trade and develop yourself. As you grow, you’ll take on more and more responsibility and will also be able to handle the other side of the recruitment process. Eventually, you can advance to become a full-fledged 360° Recruitment Consultant.
You’ll combine client relationship management, recruitment, and labor market consulting in a single role. You’ll build lasting relationships with candidates and clients, closely monitor developments in the IT market, and work closely with your colleagues to find the best matches. You’ll have a great deal of freedom, responsibility, and room to take the initiative. We believe in entrepreneurship, collaboration, and quality—not in focusing solely on hard KPIs.
