Your Role
As our Chef Assistant, you’ll:
- Lead kitchen operation on busy days - prioritisation of orders, clear communication in the kitchen
- Design and adapt dishes across Asian, European, Mediterranean, or fusion styles
- Manage inventory, control portioning, and order supplies efficiently
- Ensure strict food safety and HACCP compliance
- Inspire, support, and train kitchen staff during service
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-maintained
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has 2+ years’ experience in a kitchen role for reading food orders, prioritisation and quick preparation through clear communication with the kitchen staff.
- Holds HACCP certification or equivalent food safety knowledge
- Is organized, quality-focused, and thrives under pressure
- Has excellent communication skills and can work effectively in a team
- Speaks English fluently and has a valid EU work permit or visa
- Is flexible for busy shifts, evenings, and weekends
