To support the efficient operation and maintenance of the CCU fleet by combining hands-on yard activities with administrative coordination. The role is responsible for ensuring offshore containers are maintained, compliant, and available for operational use, while acting as a key link between yard operations, sales and rental coordination, and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for container-related activities within the CCU function.
- Demonstrate a proactive and self-driven approach, taking ownership of tasks and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Carry out routine maintenance of offshore containers, including cosmetic painting, minor repairs, and general upkeep to ensure units are maintained to a high standard.
- Perform yard-based activities such as cleaning, preparing and maintaining CCU’s, including addressing defects (e.g. surface damage, door adjustments).
- Coordinate and support CCU recertification processes with approved certification bodies, ensuring all units remain compliant and fit for use.
- Assist in tracking, organising and managing CCU’s within the yard, including monitoring units in storage and ensuring availability for operational use.
- Support the mobilisation of CCU’s, including preparing units for deployment and coordinating logistics requirements where required.
- Liaise with external suppliers for container-related work and repairs as required.
- Identify larger repair requirements and coordinate with relevant teams or vendors to ensure timely resolution.
- Work closely with clients to support operational and rental requirements, ensuring CCU availability aligns with business needs.
- Maintain accurate records of CCU maintenance, certification status, and movements within internal systems.
- Provide general administrative support, including handling telephone enquiries and supporting office-based tasks where required.
- Providing technical advice and information to clients and prospective clients.
- Promote a high standard of housekeeping of the CCU’s and take ownership of maintaining an organised and safe working environment.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
QHSE responsiblities
- To understand the areas of OEG QHSE Management Systems and Aims and Objectives relevant to the role.
- Comply with the requirements of OEG Policies and the responsibilities within the wider QHSE Management Systems.

Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2 -3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in a Logistics or Offshore related role is advantageous.
- Previous experience and knowledge of the offshore CCU industry.
- A can-do work attitude and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A thorough understanding of the sale and hire/lease process.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy of work.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to reassess and adjust priorities.
- Ability to identify and effectively resolve problems.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Good command of the English & Dutch languages, spoken and written.
Qualifications
- Mid-level technical education
- SCC (VCA) certified
- Skills in Microsoft Office
