We’re looking for a skilled and entrepreneurial Baker / Pastry Chef to help build and shape a small bakery from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who not only excels in baking and pastry techniques but also has experience setting up kitchen operations, developing menus, and creating efficient systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the setup and organization of a small-scale bakery, including workflow, equipment planning, and production processes
- Develop and standardize recipes, ensuring consistency, quality, and scalability
- Create and document SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all kitchen and production activities
- Design and execute a creative, high-quality menu including laminated pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods
- Oversee daily baking operations, ensuring products meet quality and presentation

Requirements
- Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef
- Strong skills in lamination, cakes, pastries, and cookies
- Experience developing recipes and building menus from scratch
- Hands-on experience creating SOPs and organizing kitchen workflows
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
Nice to Have
- Experience opening or launching a bakery or food concept
- Creativity and passion for innovation in baked goods
- Basic business or cost management knowledge
- Manage inventory, ingredient sourcing, and cost control
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Train and guide junior staff as the team grows
