What will you do?
As a Network Engineer, you will design, develop and test network capabilities within advanced Combat Management Systems. You will work on the integration of operator consoles, radar systems and optical sensor systems in a highly innovative and security-focused environment.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing network solutions
- Working with routing, switching, multicast and firewall technologies
- Supporting cybersecurity and compliance requirements
- Testing, validating and troubleshooting complex infrastructures
- Collaborating within Agile development teams
- Contributing to automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
Strong knowledge of:
- Routing & Switching
- OSPF
- PIM Multicast
- Firewalling
- Cisco IOS-XE
Experience with:
- Cybersecurity and compliance
- Linux (Red Hat preferred)
- Ansible and/or Python
- GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Jira (or similar tools)
Nice to have
- CCNP certification is a strong plus
- Experience in Scaled Agile / Scrum environments is a plus
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering or similar
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Hengelo 3 days per week
- Dutch nationality
- CCNA certification
