We have a proven product with outstanding results, now it’s ready to scale. You are the first Business Development Manager focused on our Energy Trading & Optimization product. You don't wait for a playbook - you write it. Together with the Head of Energy Trading, analysts and data scientists you are part of the new Energy Trading & Optimization team, with existing clients in NL and beyond.
You bring a strong network, deep energy market knowledge, and the entrepreneurial drive to turn a great product into a growing international business.
To be successful in this role, you are expected to:

Build the commercial proposition: define and sharpen Ampowr's go-to-market for our energy trading and optimization software;
- Drive new business: own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close;
- Shape our market presence: own pitch materials, presentations and thought leadership; you represent Ampowr in the market;
- Accelerate international expansion: scale from The Netherlands into new European markets; adapt our commercial approach to local dynamics, regulation and stakeholders.
Qualifications:

You have 5-10 years of experience in the energy industry or equivalent relevant business development experience;
- You are fluent in spoken and written Dutch;
- You hold a valid B-driving licence;
- You bring deep knowledge of energy markets, flexibility, balancing markets and/or ancillary services;
- You are comfortable analyzing simulation results and business cases;
- You closely follow market, technical, and regulatory developments;
- You have experience in a scale-up or startup environment, with a track record of building something from scratch (preferred!).
