Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of complex multidisciplinary offshore energy projects. In this role, you will act as the key coordination point between engineering disciplines, project management, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate has experience in offshore and energy-related projects and possesses strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout all project phases.
- Support the Project Manager with project planning, budget monitoring, quality assurance, and progress tracking.
- Lead specific projects or work packages as Project Lead when required.
- Translate client requirements into technically feasible and practical engineering solutions.
- Act as the primary interface between clients, engineering teams, and other project stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate proposal and tender activities.
- Facilitate decision-making at the interfaces between various engineering disciplines.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, contract documents, scopes of work, and general terms and conditions.
- Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, execution, and client expectations.
- Monitor project performance and proactively identify and mitigate technical and project-related risks.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and project requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in project engineering or project management within offshore, energy, marine, or industrial sectors.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and project execution processes.
- Experience working with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage.
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands.

What You'll Work On
You will contribute to innovative offshore and energy projects ranging from feasibility studies and concept development to detailed engineering and procurement activities. Projects may include offshore platforms, offshore wind developments, hydrogen production facilities, HVDC converter platforms, FPSOs, and complex industrial installations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €6.000,00 - €7.000,00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Zuid-Holland
