EMEA offices
Can you turn complex benefits data into clear, strategic advice that clients act on? Do you thrive when dropped into an environment surrounded by senior partners across different markets?
Join our worldwide Benefits group and help build how Aon harnesses information and insights to drive better outcomes for multinational clients across EMEA.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from your local Aon office. We are looking to hire this role in one of these areas: the Netherlands, Spain, France, the Nordic countries, Belgium or Italy. Travel across the EMEA region is a regular part of the role.
Aon is in the business of better decisions
At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.
What the day will look like
You are the bridge between Aon's data and analytics capabilities, our Global Benefits consultants and our clients. Your mission is to make our analytics tools and insights usable, valuable, and visible in real conversations. This applies to a client boardroom in Paris, a training workshop in Stockholm, or a finalist sales meeting in Amsterdam. This is an advisory role, not a technical or coding position. You interpret data to provide business advice; you don't build the dashboards yourself.
Located in one of our offices across the Netherlands, Spain, France, the Nordics, Belgium or Italy, you'll operate across the full EMEA region:
-
Enable colleagues across EMEA. Travel to local offices to run workshops, deliver roadshow-style training sessions and mentor consultants one-on-one on how to use Aon's D&A tools and turn analytics outputs into compelling client recommendations. Driving adoption of existing solutions is a core priority.
-
Go client-facing, often at short notice. Lead workshops, present at finalist meetings, run live demos of Aon's analytics solutions and act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders across multiple markets. You need to be credible immediately in front of any audience.
-
Translate data into actionable insights. Interpret analytics outputs across multiple datasets (claims, financials, plan build, engagement) and transform them into clear, strategic recommendations. Prepare data-driven client stories that explain what the data means for their benefits strategy.
-
Drive business development and evangelize the D&A proposition. Support sales conversations by making the value of Aon's data insights offering tangible and relevant. Influence sales and marketing collateral, chip in to thought leadership and participate in marketing events.
-
Deliver ad-hoc analytics advisory projects. Lead a small number of strategic client engagements where clients want to go deeper than standard products, working with analytics teams to scope and deliver custom data-driven insights.
-
Develop the proposition and lead client forums. Feed client needs and regional market feedback into the global D&A product roadmap. Lead or co-lead quarterly client councils (40–50 clients) and play an integral role in SME working groups that develop and refine our solutions.
How this opportunity is different
This is not a typical analytics role and it's not a traditional consulting seat. You'll sit at the intersection of advisory, enablement and business development, with real influence over how Aon's Global Benefits D&A proposition evolves across EMEA. Based in one of six key regions, you'll have the autonomy to shape how data-driven benefits advice lands with clients and consultants across the continent. Few roles offer this combination of strategic influence, client exposure and the freedom to build a growing segment of Aon's operations.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
-
Strong employee benefits expertise. You understand global benefits and employee benefits structures in practice within various regions. You can explain sophisticated cross-border benefits topics credibly to clients and colleagues. Pure data analytics or HR reporting backgrounds without benefits depth will not be sufficient.
-
The ability to convert data into advice. You are comfortable interpreting multiple datasets and drawing out the "so what" for clients. You tell people what to do with the data, not how to code it. Business translator, not data scientist.
-
Client-facing gravitas. You have significant experience presenting to and advising senior collaborators and prospects. You are comfortable being dropped into a client situation anywhere in EMEA on short notice and owning the conversation with credibility.
-
Communication, storytelling and collaborator management skills. You can make sophisticated analytics tools relevant and tangible for different audiences, whether that's a sceptical local team, a prospect in a sales meeting or a room full of 50 clients at a quarterly forum. You are equally effective influencing internally as you are externally.
-
Consulting delivery experience combined with data affinity. You have delivered consulting projects end-to-end (prioritising through to client acceptance) and have genuine curiosity for data, even if you're not building the models yourself. You understand how different datasets connect and you enjoy exploring what the numbers reveal.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field or equivalent years of proven experience.
