Client Coordinator
Department:
The Safety Assessment Client Services department consist of ~130 employees worldwide. The main goal of this department is to understand the client needs and match them with business offerings for a comprehensive range of services for the development of human and veterinary pharmaceuticals, as well as agrochemicals and industrial chemicals.
Team:
The team consists of ~13 employees with various backgrounds in both education (Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Finance, and Hospitality) as in geographical origin (Netherlands, Peru, South Africa, Serbia and more). Within the team there is an open and flexible culture and a pleasant and informal atmosphere.
About the Role:
The Client Coordinator acts as liaison to the Client Managers to provide support to ensure timely, accurate and comprehensive responses to client requests. A full onboarding and trainings program is in place, as well as a nice progression plan within the Client Services department and/or the Charles River organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all information is complete to qualify client’s requests.
- Support drafting business proposals and adjustments to these business proposals (change orders) based on the client’s requests.
- Follow up with clients to ensure business proposals meet their needs.
- Work with Business Coordination and Specialists, Scientific Operations, Business Development, Project Coordination and Business Finance teams, as required, to ensure that a high-quality customer service is provided.
- Interact with Scientific Operations and Scheduling teams to identify the dates for study initiation and assist with rescheduling studies, as needed.
- Responsible to maintain the Client Service mailbox, i.e. answering questions from clients, operational departments and/or client managers from other sites.
- Update and maintain applicable databases.
- Assist Client Manager with client visits, including giving company tours and presentations.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or MSc in natural sciences, applying your scientific knowledge in both commercial and scientific contexts.
- Commercial experience, ideally in a scientific field, is a nice to have.
- Availability for 32-40 hours per week. Hybrid working is possible.
