About the Role
As an Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the property's facilities, equipment, and systems. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and exceptional environment for both guests and associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues
- Monitor and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential issues
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Support renovation projects and facility improvements when required
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to operations
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or technical role, preferably within hospitality
- Technical knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- A hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties when required
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are preferred
