Our vision is to become the #1 fulfilment partner in Europe by being one of the best in every market we operate in and adapting to what each market needs. And technology is where we set ourselves apart. Keeping it that way means localising our IT so we can operate at our best in every market. That's why we're looking for an IT Product Manager to bridge our international business and central IT. Someone who'll help our technology keep pace with our expansion and make sure every new market is set up to succeed.
You are the connecting layer between Monta's international business and its central IT organisation in the Netherlands. As IT Product Manager for Fulfilment Europe, you translate the operational and commercial realities of our country teams into clear, prioritised IT requirements. And you bring those back into the central IT organisation (IT Ops, IT Security, IT Dev, and IT Implementation) with the credibility and context needed to drive action. This is not a pure technical role, nor a pure commercial one. You sit at the intersection. You are the first call for a Country Manager who needs to understand what's technically possible, the person they escalate to when a critical issue on site needs prioritising and pushing to resolution, and the internal advocate who ensures international business needs don't get lost in a backlog dominated by the Dutch core business. The technical delivery remains the responsibility within the existing delivery teams; however you play a crucial role in providing the requirements and help determine and set priorities. You report to the Director Monta Europe and work in close collaboration with the heads of IT Ops, IT Security, IT Dev, and IT Implementation. A significant part of your value is anticipation getting ahead of IT requirements for new and growing markets before they become blockers.
-
Act as the primary IT point of contact for all international country teams: translating business needs into structured IT requirements across software, hardware, and integrations
-
Maintain a forward-looking IT roadmap per country, anticipating requirements at each stage of growth (pre-launch, Go Live, scale-up) and aligning these with central IT planning cycles
-
Represent international business interests within the central IT organisation, ensuring country-specific priorities are visible, understood, and appropriately resourced
-
Coordinate with IT Security on country-level compliance requirements and ensure they are embedded in country launch planning
-
Partner with IT Dev to scope and prioritise integration requirements: carriers, marketplaces, ERP systems, and local third-party platforms, for each new market
-
Support IT Ops in defining local infrastructure needs (hardware, connectivity, support coverage) ahead of country launches
-
Ensure country requirements and solutions always align with our central IT architecture, security standards and support model.
-
Help countries get critical service issues handled with the right priority and support the service team with resolution by providing context and detail on international IT setups.
-
5–8 years in an IT-facing role with a clear business partnering or project coordination component. Ideally in logistics, e-commerce, supply chain, or SaaS
-
Demonstrated ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders; comfortable translating in both directions
-
Experience working in or with international teams across multiple markets and time zones
-
Solid understanding of WMS, ERP, or fulfilment platform ecosystems. You don't need to be a developer, but you need to know enough to ask the right questions
-
Structured communicator able to produce clear requirement documents, IT readiness reports, and stakeholder updates without handholding
-
Fluent in English and Dutch; additional languages (French, German) are a strong plus
-
Based in the Netherlands; willing to travel regularly to country locations
-
Full time available
-
Background in 3PL, fulfilment, or WMS environments where IT and operations are deeply intertwined
-
Experience in IT programme management, business analysis, or a similar bridging role in a scaling or international context
-
Familiar with pre-launch IT scoping, defining what needs to be in place before Day 1
-
Commercially aware and understands how IT readiness directly affects customer experience, onboarding timelines, and revenue
-
Someone who builds trust quickly with both technically-minded colleagues and operationally-focused country leads, and is comfortable holding both sides accountable
