Position overview
As a key member of the EMEA Demand Planning team, the Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting demand across a portfolio of more than 2,000 SKUs, with a strong focus on DTC/eCommerce and in-season business. By leveraging statistical, promotional, and consensus forecasting methods, the role drives inventory optimization and in-stock performance while identifying demand drivers that influence business results. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Demand Planning and working closely with a Senior Demand Planner, this role partners cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Technology, and Fulfillment teams to ensure integrated forecasting and planning across the EMEA region.
What You'll Do
- Develop demand forecasts by partnering with Sales, Commercial, and Planning teams to understand channel growth, historical demand, and product trends, combining quantitative data (e.g., orders and shipments) with marketing, customer, promotional, and market intelligence signals.
- Track and review forecast accuracy (base and promotional), reconcile forecast exceptions, and continuously refine forecasts as needed.
- Partner with Supply Planning to support effective inventory management throughout the product lifecycle.
- Review demand history, identify outliers, develop recommendations, and manage system settings to improve forecast performance.
- Monitor and evaluate key KPIs, including fill rate, forecast accuracy, and conformance to plan in both units and dollars.
- Manage demand forecasting for new products and support the new product introduction process.
- Maintain forecast accuracy metrics and performance reporting against established goals.
- Collaborate with Buying and Planning teams to validate inventory requirements based on channel trends, consumer demand, and forecasted returns, helping maximize inventory efficiency.
- Provide demand and sales insights to support Supply Planning, Sales, and Commercial decision-making.
- Support new product launches and promotional planning, ensuring alignment between Planning, Marketing, and Finance forecasts.
- Work closely with Data and CRM teams to incorporate customer insights into forecasting capabilities.
- Identify risks and opportunities across the business, reconcile forecasts with Finance, and clearly communicate impacts, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive demand planning experience, preferably supporting DTC/eCommerce and omnichannel businesses.
- Strong understanding of forecasting concepts, principles, and demand planning best practices.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Kinaxis or similar planning applications.
- Experience working with demand forecasting systems; Power BI and intermediate SQL skills are a plus.
- Comfortable working across multiple geographies and time zones, with willingness to travel up to 20%.
