Make a difference as a Digital Experience UI/UX Designer
The Digital Experience UI/UX Designer plays a key role in architecting digital solutions that connect complex data with human intuition. You will work across diverse functions, like Research & Development, Seed Operations, Marketing & Sales and Staff to design scalable systems that solve real business problems. You will ensure that our digital ecosystem remains consistent, user-centric and impactful and you help developing and maintaining business applications that empower our teams to work smarter and more efficiently. In this role, your work will include:
Shape the user experience and interface of digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, visually compelling and aligned with brand and accessibility guidelines
Define information architecture, organize content logically and validate design solutions through usability testing and feedback loops
Help deliver and support business applications that transform business needs into practical, user-friendly solutions, empowering teams to reach their goals faster
Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research with product managers, developers and business stakeholders to ensure feasibility and alignment and take an active role as a driver of design maturity within the organization
Develop and maintain design systems, reusable components and design tokens that are according to Enza Zaden company standards
Work in multidisciplinary teams that delivers direct business value through pragmatic, user-friendly digital solutions.
Develop and maintain business applications that empower our teams to work smarter and more efficiently.
What you bring as a future colleague
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch and the ability to create wireframes, prototypes and visual designs
Knowledge of a mix of low-code, pro-code, AI assisted development and cloud native technologies
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and interaction with development teams for smooth handoff and strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design and accessibility standards
Knowledge of Agile methodologies like Scrum and understanding of Devops practises and tooling like automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools
You are analytical, structured, and a clear communicator and you excel in global cross-functional teamwork and align with stakeholders

A position for 38 hours per week;
A gross monthly salary between €4.356 and €6.222 (Scale 10, Collective Labor Agreement for Vegetable Seed Companies), based on a full-time workweek of 38 hours and aligned with your knowledge and experience;
8.33% vacation allowance and an attractive annual bonus program of 10% of your annual salary, depending on your job level and company performance;
25 vacation days, the option to purchase additional vacation days, and one paid vitality day per year, with extra vacation days granted as you get older;
A laptop and mobile phone provided by Enza Zaden;
A contribution toward overnight accommodation costs if you live farther away from Enza Zaden. This program applies to employees working for Enza Zaden in the Netherlands whose one-way commute exceeds 100 kilometers and 75 minutes;
An attractive retirement plan, commuting reimbursement if you live more than 10 kilometers from your workplace and a remote work allowance when working partly from home in consultation with your manager;
