About Futurewhiz, Squla and StudyGo
For nearly 15 years, Futurewhiz has been the market leader in EdTech in the Netherlands. Squla is a popular educational brand among (primary school) children, parents and teachers. StudyGo (formerly WRTS) is the go-to online platform for secondary school students to prepare for exams. From vocabulary practice and assignments to chatting with tutors and attending group lessons, we offer a comprehensive toolkit to help students succeed. With over 650,000 annual users, StudyGo has become one of the key digital platforms for secondary education.
Your role and impact
During this internship, you will be a part of the Legal team, and you will support the team with various tasks:
- Review AI tools as requested by the teams
- Support with reviewing, negotiating, and drafting commercial contracts
- Keeping up to date with policies in the domain of educational technology legislation; data protection laws, intellectual property laws, and children’s rights
- Provide support in performing AI and privacy compliance projects
- Contributing to the day-to-day activities of the legal team in various matters within the EdTech field
Who are you?
You are a proactive person, looking for a chance to develop your skills within the legal sector, and have a keen interest in all legal aspects of a business.
- You are a WO Law student and looking for a legal internship
- Education: at least bachelor of Law with focus on private law, specifically a focus on AI, information law or privacy law
- A plus would be if you are familiar with Dutch legislation
- You are a good communicator both verbally and in writing
- You have strong English writing and speaking skills, Dutch is a plus
- You have a proactive, enthusiastic and open attitude, and are eager to learn new things
- You are flexible, creative and solution oriented
- You are available for at least 3 days a week, for at least 4-6 months starting August 2025
